Almost all types of companies can be a
sponsor of the European Tourist Guide (se general rules). Companies
that are mentioned in this guide are all candidates as sponsors, but also
companies that are not a part of this guide can be sponsors. This could be
companies like banks, insurance, travel agencies, restaurants, fuel
companies etc.
Why be a sponsor and not and advertiser? -
In this way you will get your name mentioned on the navigation pages, at
thereby get more value for money.

If a major sponsor requests a top right banner on a page which already
has three banners, a fourth will be added.
Major sponsors will also be offered to use of the footer banners
on the main pages in this guide.
European Tourist Guide will further more places the major sponsors
advertisement at minimum 4 other pages of our choice.

Standard for all sponsorships
If your are mentioned as one of the places in the European Tourist Guide, your name will
be marked up, and we will make at note beside your
name, so that the users can see, that you are a sponsor.
If you are not mentioned at the European Tourist Guide, and you are
a tourist related company, you will be a part of the guide and marked as
described above.
You can also just choose to advertise on the European Tourist Guide.

Where are the advertising banners places?
On each page in the European Tourist
Guide, you will find room for 3 advertising banners at the top
right hand side. In special cases this can be extended to 4 banners -
no more.
At the bottom of each page you will also
find one advertising banner.
Acceptable
banners
European Tourist
Guide will not accept
advertising banners that are:
European Tourist
Guide will refuse all banners that are not in the sprite
of this guide (a guide for all families in Europe). European Tourist Guide reserves
the right to accept or reject any banner without any further discussion.
European Tourist
Guide will normally only accept non-animated banners, but animated
banners with slow movement can in some cases be accepted.
