The Diamond Museum in Amsterdam opened its doors in April
2007 and have since then given a lot of visitors a chance learn more
about this unique "stone". The museum tells the story of diamonds
thru the ages - and has a unique display of (copies) of some of the
most famous diamonds. The museum is located just opposite the
Rijksmuseum (the National Museum).

Katane - Japanese Sword of Murano
glass with diamonds and rubies set in 18K white/yellow gold
displayed at the Diamond museum in Amsterdam. The sword has 1967
pieces of Diamonds with a total weight of 54.48 carat - and 494
pieces of Rubies with a total weight of 10.69 carat.
