The retired Lightship "Fehmarnbelt" is now docked in the
harbour of Lübeck,
where she servers as a maritime museum during the winter season.
During the summer she sail on cruises.This historic ship was build
in 1908 at the G.H. Thyen shipyard at Brake/Unterweser and served as as lightship until 1984
where she was decommissioned. In 1984 she was brought to the island
of Sylt to produce the film "The Lightship" with Klaus Maria
Brandauer.
