The Airborne Museum of Sainte Mère Eglise show the history of one of the first and most well known battles that took place during the D-day operations in June 1944. During the night between the 5th and 6th of June thousands of allied paratroopers where dropped in the area near Sainte Mère Eglise to secure a vital road junction.
