France - CAEA Aircraft Collection - 2

The CAEA Aircraft Collection (Conservatoire de l'Air et de l'Espace d'Aquitaine) is located at a "live" French Air Force base at Bordeaux. To gain access to the collection you need to apply for access to the base in advance - it is not possible just to "drop by". The collection is partly museum and a partly a restoration hangar, where "new" planes are being restored to almost full flying condition. Main focus is on aircrafts used by the French Air Force.
