The
Stenvad Peat Digging Museum portrays the history of peat.
This unique museum follow the timeline from the time where peat was
used as a fuel, over the industrialization of the peat digging - and
until today. Today - in Denmark -peat is mainly used for potted plants and to
improve ordinary garden soil.
