The Ryvangen Memorial Grove is the largest Memorial park in Denmark that commemorates the Danish Resistance Fighter that were killed during World War II. Some of these Fighters were killed in action, others were executed by the Germans and others again died in German concentration camps. The park is located at an old military barracks. During World War II the Germans used the shooting ranges of these barracks as their main execution site in Denmark.
