The old Danish Naval Base "Holmen" - in the middle of Copenhagen is today a maritime museum with the Danish Frigate "Peder Skram" as one of its main attractions. The frigate, submarine, a torpedo/missile boat and other naval equipment can now be seen inside this old Naval Base, which for many centuries were the main Danish base for the Royal Danish Navy. In the harbour the naval station is just opposite the Royal palace Amalienborg and the statue of the "Little Mermaid".
