Belgium - Hooge Crater Cemetery - 1 |
|

The Hooge Crater Cemetery is located
in
Zillebeke
just outside Ypres - one
of the towns that saw a lot of fighting during World War I.
The cemetery holds 5,924 graves of British and other Commonwealth
soldiers. On the other side of the road the Hooge Crater Museum
1914-18 s located. The cemetery was visited on a very rainy day -
that is the reason why there are only a limited number of pictures.
