Belgium - Hill 62 (Sanctuary Wood)
Memorial - 1 |
|

The Canadian Hill 62 (Sanctuary Wood) Memorial is located
on top of what was known by the Commonwealth
soldiers as "Hill 62" in
Zillebeke during World War I. This was
one of the allied high-ground strongholds
just outside Ypres which
saw a lot of battle during World War I - and kept the German troops
away from Ypres.
